Park Jimin of BTS released the official tracklist of his upcoming second solo album, MUSE, on midnight June 21, 2024 (KST). An hour before the official drop, BIGHIT MUSIC released a crossword puzzle game on the "For ARMY" Instagram broadcast channel, where they shared ten hints.

The hints included questions about Jimin's MBTI type, his current favorite food, the eighth post from his Instagram account, the name of his debut solo album, and more. Fans were sent into a frenzy as the crossword puzzle went viral online. ARMY put their heads together to figure out the tracklist. Two new songs were revealed through the crossword puzzle.

Nevertheless, the official tracklist was dropped at 8.30 PM (ET) on June 20 or 12 AM (KST) on June 21, 2024. Five new songs, including the title track, WHO, were announced and are as follows:

  • Track 01: Rebirth (Intro)
  • Track 02: Interlude: SHOWTIME
  • Track 03: SMERALDO GARDEN MARCHING BAND
  • Track 04: SLOW DANCE (feat. Sofia Carson)
  • Track 05: BE MINE
  • Track 06: WHO (Title Track)
  • Track 07: Closer Than This

BTS Jimin gets lauded for the unique creative design for his upcoming second solo album

Fans greeted the tracklist with enthusiasm and showered compliments on its imaginative design. The overall design looked appealing because of the vibrant shades of purple, green, yellow, and other colors.

It's also important to notice that none of the color tones are bright or striking; instead, their pastel hues are intended to evoke a nostalgic feeling from the 80s. The tracks are displayed on separate tape cassettes—a relic from the past when songs were recorded and played on tapes. Each track has a distinguished color associated with it, making it easier to identify.

  • Peach and blue: Rebirth (Intro)
  • Grey and black: Interlude: SHOWTIME
  • Yellow and peach: SMERALDO GARDEN MARCHING BAND
  • Indigo: SLOW DANCE (feat. Sofia Carson)
  • Green and dark grey: BE MINE
  • Cyan blue with rainbow hues: WHO (Title Track)
  • Purple: Closer Than This

Among these, Closer Than This is a single dedicated to his fans by Jimin, which was released on December 22, 2023, after the singer-songwriter enlisted in the South Korean military on December 12. Additionally, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band is a pre-release track from MUSE that will be released on June 28, 2024, at 1 PM KST (June 28, 12 AM ET).

The official promotional schedule for Jimin's upcoming second solo album was released on June 18, 2024. In the schedule, two dates are marked with "question marks" on July 8 and 22, and seemingly, the surprise content will be announced and released later.
