BTS Jimin earns his 6th career solo entry as 'WHO' debuts at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100

On July 30, 2024, BTS Jimin's WHO debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking his sixth career solo entry on the global chart. This is the Grammy-nominated South Korean artist's second-highest entry after Like Crazy, which clinched first spot in April 2023.

The title track WHO (from album MUSE) also debuted at No. 1 on both Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts on July 30, 2024. He joined Jungkook for topping both charts with his solo project. Furthermore, BTS became the first and only K-pop act to have multiple members dominating the music charts with their solo entries.

BTS Jimin rakes in record-breaking success with his latest album release, MUSE

Despite the BTS idol's ongoing military enlistment, his latest album titled MUSE recorded a massive breakthrough by topping several music charts like the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart, iTunes Worldwide Album Chart, Billboard 200, Billboard Global 200, and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, notably, without any promotion.

The album's pre-release single, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), earned a 'Perfect All-Kill' by reaching #1 across 119 countries on the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart. The track also became the fastest song by a K-pop solo act to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify. As of July 29, the track amassed over 116 million streams.

Moreover, MUSE clinched the top spot on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart on July 19 across 87 countries, including France, the UK, the US, Russia, Germany, and Spain.

For the unversed, Jimin dropped MUSE and its title track WHO on July 19, 2024. The album marked his second solo set after he released his debut solo album, FACE, on March 24, 2023.
