On July 19, 2024, BTS Jimin's title track, WHO, from his second solo album, Muse, became the fastest 2024 song to reach the No.1 position in 110 countries on the iTunes Worldwide music charts. The idol achieved this milestone within ten hours and fifteen minutes of the song's release.

The male artist released his much-anticipated second solo album on July 19, 2024, with a music video for the title track, WHO, on the official HYBE LABELS YouTube channel. The mini album was released through Big Hit Music and distributed by YG Plus and HYBE (physical).

The tracklist features seven songs, including Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), Slow Dance, Be Mine, WHO, and Closer Than This.

It should be noted the idol has already released Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco) as a pre-release single and Closer Than This as a tribute song to fans on June 28, 2024 and December 22, 2023, respectively.


Jimin's WHO achieved an All-Kill #1 on iTunes in the world's eight biggest music markets

Muse's title track, WHO, achieved an All-Kill as the song reached the No.1 position on iTunes in the world's eight biggest music markets, including Brazil, France, Germany, Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. Soon, the news about the idol dominating the iTunes Worldwide music chart in over 100 countries circulated on social media and went viral.

The fandom began praising the idol's vocals and the lyrics of the WHO track and expressed their pride in him. Fans showcased their support for the idol with trending phrases, including "Congratulations, Jimin," "ITUNES KING JIMIN," and "Proud of You," and shared multiple snippets celebrating the idol's latest milestones.

Some countries where the idol's track reached the No.1 on iTunes Worldwide charts include Brazil, Colombia, Kenya, Laos, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Macao, Mexico, Netherlands, Niger, Switzerland, Thailand, Venezuela, UAE, Taiwan, South Africa, Ukraine, New Zealand, Oman, and other regions.

Meanwhile, one of the producers named GHSTLOOP, who worked on Muse alongside Jimin, expressed his gratitude to the male artist and the team through his Instagram account on July 19, 2024. He stated, as translated by X user @JiminGlobal:

“I would like to thank Jimin for his endless ideas and hard work in this album, Pdogg PD, who always leads the production, and Joohyun (EVAN), who has matured even more than before. I would also like to thank all the employees and staff who have worked hard together so far. Thank you to all ARMY fans who always support us."

In recent news, the BTS member will be featured in the upcoming South Korean travel variety show Are You Sure?!, alongside fellow group member Jungkook. The program will premiere on August 8 through Disney+ until September 19, 2024.
