BTS' Jimin's title track, WHO, from his new solo album, MUSE, surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify. It became the fastest song by a Korean act in 2024 to achieve this feat. As of August 17, 2024, WHO has gained over 292 million (292,858,206) streams and an additional 10.16 million (10,163,782) streams on August 18, making it over 300 million.
WHO was released on July 19, 2024, with five other tracks from MUSE. The seventh track, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. LOCO), was pre-released on June 28, 2024.

BTS' Jimin's MUSE broke multiple records since its release
The album sold over 771,000 copies of each of both editions—Blooming and Serenade—in its first week of release. It debuted at No. 2 on the South Korean Circle Album Chart.
Jimin earned his second No. 2 debut in the US on August 3, 2024, at Billboard 200. With 74,000 pure album sales, 15,000 streaming equivalents, and 7,000 track equivalents, the album brought in 96,000 album-equivalent units.
Meanwhile, WHO debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200. The track also landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. US chart. Additionally, with more than 83,000 physical copies sold, it debuted at No. 3 on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart.
WHO became the fastest song by a Korean soloist to climb to No. 1 on the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart across 112 countries within 24 hours. The album MUSE also entered No. 1 on the UK iTunes Albums chart, making him the first K-pop artist in 2024 to achieve this milestone.
MUSE focused on the themes of new inspiration and waiting for their soulmate. Jimin's WHO was about waiting to meet with his soulmate as he crooned, "Never met but she's always on my mind." Meanwhile, his track Rebirth (Intro) talks about having a crush on someone.
Be Mine is about the singer's determination to pursue his love interest, while SLOW DANCE (feat. Sofia Carson) centers on the singer-songwriter's wish to slowly get to know the person he loves. Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. LOCO) is about finding happiness and inspiration by experiencing new things in life.
In other news, BTS' Jimin is serving in the South Korean military and is set to be discharged in June 2025.
