On July 21, 2024, the BTS idol broke the record of his previous solo hit, Like Crazy from his debut solo album FACE.
As of writing this, the singer-songwriter debuted at No. 3 on the Spotify US Daily Top Songs Chart and has amassed over 7.9 million streams. Furthermore, WHO is the title track of the Grammy-nominated South Korean musician's second solo album, MUSE. The album was released on July 19 and includes seven tracks.
The BTS idol's rank was surpassed on the Spotify US Daily Top Songs Chart by Billie Eilish's BIRDS OF A FEATHER which ranked at No. 1 and Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso at No. 2.

Jimin's WHO gained over 9.9 million filtered streams on Spotify on July 21, 2024. It became the biggest song debut by a Korean and a K-pop soloist in 2024. He surpassed his previous record of Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), which earned over 6 million filtered Spotify streams and 8.6 million unfiltered streams.
Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco) is one of the two pre-release tracks from MUSE and was released on June 28, 2024. The other pre-release track is Closer Than This, which was released as a digital single on December 22, 2023. Furthermore, Jimin became the fastest soloist in 2024 as Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco) achieved 100 million streams on Spotify on July 21.
Meanwhile, the WHO music video gained over 12 million views on YouTube by July 21, 2024. The video displays a retro vibe in its cinematography and musical notes as he sings and dances on a neon-lit street about finding his soulmate. His vocals and the video received global praise from fans and music critics.
The title track entered at No. 1 on the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart in over 112 countries within the 24 hours of its release.
