On August 10, 2024, the South Korean media outlet JTBC News that BTS Jimin's title track, WHO, from his second solo album Muse, secured 25th position on the UK official singles chart, remaining on it now for three consecutive weeks, cementing his status as one of the most influential K-pop artists on a global scale.

The male artist released his second solo album, Muse, on July 19, 2024, through Bighit Music. The record featured seven tracks, including Rebirth (Intro), Interlude: Showtime, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco), Slow Dance, Be Mine, and WHO. The album was distributed by YG Plus and HYBE LABELS.

According to the outlet, BTS Jimin secured top-ranking positions on Singles Sales and Single Downloads for three consecutive weeks and had a higher position on the Physical Single Sales chart as of August 8, 2024.

Meanwhile, Jimin's title track, WHO, remained at the number three position on Spotify Daily Top Songs USA with 1,877,002 streams as of August 9, 2024. It also earned its position in the second week by securing the number one ranking on India's IMI International Top 20 Singles Chart. The track also tied for the highest and longest-charting song by a K-pop act in 2024.

In recent news, the male artist's title track WHO spent the number one position on Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. US Charts in its second week as of August 6, 2024. The song also emerged as the longest-running solo number-one track by a Korean soloist in the history of the Billboard Global 200 singles chart.

Meanwhile, WHO has charted at the number 12 position on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in its second week on August 6, 2024. Additionally, the idol has been creating waves with his albums on different country music charters, including Indonesia, Swiss, India, and others.

BTS Jimin's title track, WHO, remained the highest-charting K-act for consecutive two weeks on the Billboard Indonesia Songs music chart. It ranked at the No. 8 and No. 9 positions in the first and second weeks, respectively.

The male artist also created the record of holding the two top positions on the highest-charting solo songs by a K-soloist on the Swiss Top 100 Singles in the last ten years.


In recent news, BTS Jimin's travel variety program Are You Sure?!, featuring, Jungkook premiered on August 8, 2024, through BigHit Music. The streaming platform Disney+ dropped the first two episodes, and the show will run till September 19, 2024.

Jimin began mandatory military service on December 12, 2023, alongside fellow group member Jungkook. After concluding five weeks of basic military training, the idol was deployed to the Fifth Infantry Division, where he would execute his remaining duty.
