On Friday, July 19, BTS' Jimin rolled out the official music video for WHO, the title track of his second solo album, MUSE. Along with the music video release, fans were also presented with the description and meaning behind each of the tracks in a video interview with Genie.
While most fans guessed that Y2K's inspiration went into the creation of WHO's music video, the description further cemented the song's theme. In the official description of the music video, WHO, the idol explained that it revolves around finding the one true love through choreography and mood aesthetics that were inspired by the 2000s.
Here's what BTS' Jimin stated about WHO, its music video, and the meaning behind the track through Apple Music:
"Video of my journey to find my girl somewhere with spectacular choreography performances and 2000s Y2K mood aesthetics. a track that best shows the message of the album and the feeling of love."
Moreover, the information regarding the track description for MUSE's title track, WHO, revealed the focus on the journey of finding true love.
"WHO is s*xy and bold, but the message of the song is more of a pure love story of 'wanting to find true love'. The lyrics 'Who is my heart waiting for?', which were revealed along with the melody, are like the question that serves as the starting point of the song."

On July 19, the vocalist and main dancer of BTS, Jimin, rolled out his second solo album, MUSE. The album contains a total of seven songs with its title track as WHO. Additionally, a single was pre-released, which was collaboratively sung with Loco called Smeraldo Garden Marching Band.
Following the album's release, fans have been flooding social media with compliments about the tracks. Before the release of MUSE, the idol explained the meaning and inspiration behind all of his tracks, and here's what he stated about the songs that sit on his second solo album.
"Rebirth (Intro) gives the impression of moving on to the next chapter of FACE while using a chorus and orchestra to have connectivity with its predecessor, FACE. The next track, Interlude: Showtime, marks the beginning of finding a muse until Be Mine."
Jimin also gave in-depth descriptions of each of the tracks and its genre. Here's the same:
- Rebirth (Intro): This song is a fusion genre based on R&B and gospel, and conveys the excitement of a new beginning.
- Interlude: Showtime: This is an instrumental song that connects to the third track. The 'marching band' sound that plays excites the listeners.
- Smeraldo Garden Marching Band: It gives a dynamic feel by adding the hip-hop genre to the big band (large-scale orchestra) sound.
- Slow Dance: is a medium-tempo R&B song.
- Be Mine: is an Afro-beat genre song. If the previous songs had a fresh atmosphere, this song is characterized by a captivating rhythm that reverses the atmosphere.
Jimin concluded the track descriptions by expressing that all the songs that sit on the MUSE album revolve around the theme of love and its dimensions.
He added that when the album is listened to in order, one can not only feel the excitement and thrill of being in love but also the process and emotions of actively expressing the same.
