BTS' Jin announces solo debut album, 'Happy', featuring six tracks - All you need to know

On Monday, October 14, BIGHIT MUSIC announced BTS' JIN's first solo album, Happy. The album is scheduled to be released on November 15, 2024, at 2 PM KST and the pre-orders for the same will start on October 15, at 11 AM KST. The upcoming album is expected to feature a total of six tracks, and they are all reported to have a unique vibe from one another.

Fans can pre-save the song now across all music streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes Store, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, and Tidal. Regardless, the entire album will be grounded on band sounds. In celebration of the same, the many official accounts of BTS' social media excitedly announced the idol's upcoming album.

In an Instagram group chat created for BTS' official account, the announcement of BTS' Jin's solo debut album was made. Here's what the announcement read:

"Are you ready? Jin's "Happy" will take you on a journey to find true happiness! Be ready! Jin's "Happy" will lead ARMY to find true happiness!"

Following the same, fans have been thrilled and excited to see what's in store for them. While the K-pop idol initially made his solo debut with a single release, The Astronaut, in October 2022, fans were happy to have him roll out a full-fledged album. Therefore, following the announcement, fans have been celebrating and cheering the K-pop idol on his upcoming debut.


All you need to know about BTS Jin's solo activities and other updates

On June 12, BTS' Jin was discharged from the military after completing his mandatory enlistment as an active drill instructor. Following the same, the K-pop idol has been quite active in the entertainment industry. Soon after his discharge, the idol announced that his solo debut album would be released by the end of 2024.

The idol had previously released several solo tracks alongside BTS' albums. Some of the tracks include Epiphany, Moon, Awake, and more. Additionally, he also released a few SoundCloud tracks such as Tonight, etc. Regardless, his official solo debut was rolled out in October 2022, with his single The Astronaut, released right before his military enlistment.

On the other hand, the idol has also been active in other fields outside the music industry. The idol kickstarted his own variety show, RUN JIN, a spin-off of BTS' famous K-pop variety show, RUN BTS. In the show, the K-pop idol participates in a series of activities, including playing tennis, spending a day as a high school student at his alma mater, hiking a mountain, and more.

Additionally, he's also expected to appear in an upcoming South Korean variety show called Relax and Rest, which is scheduled to be released by the end of this year. The idol wrapped up the filming of the same back in June. Moreover, the idol also bagged two endorsements following his discharge from his military enlistment.


He currently stands as the brand ambassador for the luxury fashion brand, Gucci, and the luxury jewelry brand, FRED. As the idol continues to engage in a series of activities as a soloist, fans have been cheering for the same. With the release of his solo album release, Happy, being just a month away, fans have been eagerly looking forward to the same.
