On August 28, 2024, Xports News reported that BTS' Kim Seok-jin is set to feature on Netflix's new variety show, Dae Hwan Jang Kian Jang (working title), aka KIAN’s Bizarre B&B. The show, set on Ulleungdo Island, is managed by webtoon writer Kian84 and will host celebrity guests.
Kian84 (Kim Hee-min) is a webtoon writer and broadcaster who became well-known for his songs such as I Live Alone and Around the World Since I Was Born.
Alongside the BTS idol, actress Ji Ye-eun, well-known for her part in the Coupang Play series SNL Korea, SBS' Running Man and laughter cheat key, is set to join the show as a guest. The show promises laughter and heartfelt moments and is set for a 2025 release.

It is created by Jung Hyo-min, Lee So-min, and Hwang Yoon-seo. Netflix confirmed BTS' Jin's appearance on the show and said,

BTS' Jin's ongoing variety shows post his military discharge
Kim Seok-jin of BTS was discharged from the South Korean military on June 12, 2024, after completing mandatory service of 18 months. He has been busy filming for several Korean reality shows such as MBC's Half-star Hotel in Lost Island and his own show RUN JIN, which is a spin on BTS' reality show, Run BTS!
In Half-star Hotel in Lost Island, the Tonight singer-songwriter featured as a special guest on episodes 15 and 16, aired on August 19 and 26, 2024. The episodes are available on the iMBC YouTube channel.
Additionally, RUN JIN premiered on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel on August 13 and releases a new episode every Tuesday. The reality show will air episode 4 on September 3, 2024, and will feature Yeonjun from Tomorrow X Together (TXT). The show will also have Kim Dong-hyun from Physical 100 Season 2 as a guest.
The show revolves around the BTS idol's various quests such as hiking on the Hallasan Mountain in Jeju Island, visiting his childhood school and competing with the students in games, or working in the kitchen in a PC Bang Gaming Zone and playing against kids. The show promises hilarious content as the idol engages in various entertaining games.
In other news, the BTS singer was announced as the global ambassador for the French luxury jewelry brand, FRED, in July 2024. Later, he became the face of the Italian luxury brand, GUCCI, in August 2024.
He also became the first Korean musician to carry the Olympic Flame in the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch Relay on July 14, as one of the torchbearers. The BTS idol is set to release his debut solo album by the end of 2024.
