BTS’ Jin will be seen on the front page of W Korea's August 2024 volume 7, showcasing a Summer Dreamer aura through his latest look with jewelry brand FRED as the global brand ambassador. W Korea released three photos of Jin wearing jewelry from FRED in different settings, confirming the magazine's pre-order date.
The BTS singer was previously enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the winter season, having joined in December 2022. The magazine pictorial will showcase the summer dream experienced by the Astronaut singer with his military discharge in June 2024. This issue consists of 44 pages of interviews with photos all over it. The pre-order for this issue commenced at 3 p.m. KST on July 10 at major online e-commerce platforms.
The media outlet confirmed releasing other digital content featuring the Moon singer and shared the schedule through their official website. According to e-commerce websites Yes24 and Ktown4u, the copy will be shipped to the customers on July 24, 2024.

On July 8, FRED announced that the BTS vocalist was the brand ambassador for the company. He gained attention online as the first-ever global brand ambassador for the French jewelry brand.
The brand made an Instagram post revealing the new representative and described him as:
“Jin of 21st-century emblematic pop icons BTS. Jin, as a true generational symbol, has made a global impact with his talent and personality, continuing to inspire millions of fans worldwide. Welcome to the FRED family!”
On July 9, W Korea released a spoiler video unveiling the face of their upcoming issue, and the netizens were quick to recognize Jin, who wore different outfits along with accessories from FRED for this campaign.
On July 10, they dropped a pictorial featuring the BTS vocalist and also revealed other details about their collaboration with the French accessories brand for this issue.
The Epiphany singer-songwriter was seen wearing a FORCE 10 ICONIC DIAMOND necklace, the 18-karat Chalcedony Pain de Sucre ring, the Force 10 bracelet FRED x Roland Garros, and many other pieces from the brand for this pictorial.
About the upcoming issue featuring Jin, W Korea editor Kwon Eun-kyung stated,
“The fashion pictorial that has been completed in this season is brightening up this issue. You can feel the essence of midsummer from the pictures drawn laying on the rugged forests and sea in Nice, France, and a swimming pool with the light of noon.”
In other news, on July 10, Weverse Magazine released an interview with the BTS member, in which he opened up about his plans for the release of solo music.
He stated,
“Fortunately, the guys all finished making their own albums before enlisting, and now Jimin’s is coming out. That made me think I better not wait too long to release mine after his is out, so I’m working to get it done fast.”
Meanwhile, Jin will also be participating as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics’ torch relay; the specific date for this event is yet to be announced by BIGHIT MUSIC.
