Top moments from BTS’ Jin's appearance on MBC’s

Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island

1) The BTS star's ability to flip pans left everyone astonished

The cast was in the midst of dinner preparations, deciding to make 'Pajeon,' Korean pancakes filled with vegetables, based on the recommendation of celebrity chef Lee Yeon-bok. When the chef requested that the BTS star flip the pancake in the pan with a flick of the wrist, Ahn initially seemed unsure.

However, the Moon singer amazed the cast and viewers with a flawless flip. The cast cheered as Jin perfectly flipped the 'Pajeon.' Fans of the idol were reminded of a moment with BTS when Jin encouraged a hesitant Taehyung to try flipping a pan, responding to the question, "What if he flings it?" with a confident,

"Then he flings it."

2) The Super Tuna singer playfully pranking the cast

As the rest of the cast scoured the shoreline for what appeared to be shells, Jin decided to indulge in some mischief. His first target was Chef Lee, to whom he slyly handed an already-discovered shell, letting the chef believe he'd found it himself before revealing the truth.

The BTS star then pulled the same trick on his close friend, Sandeul, from B1A4. While Sandeul was focused on searching for shells, the Epiphany singer quietly placed one right behind his feet. The cast was baffled as to how they had missed the shell until Jin’s prank was uncovered.

3) The 92-liners' synchronized scream upon discovering a shellfish

Jin and Sandeul, long-time friends born in the same year, had viewers in stitches when they stumbled upon a shellfish while strolling around the island. Their simultaneous and perfectly synchronized screams were nothing short of hilarious.

This moment also reinforced why the idol mentioned in a previous episode that whenever he's asked about a celebrity friend, Sandeul is the first person who comes to mind. Sandeul responded to this with uncontrollable laughter.

4) CEO Ahn Jung-hwan invites Jin to join as a chef

Impressed by the BTS member's dedication and impressive culinary abilities, CEO Ahn extended an invitation for him to become a chef in the next season of the show. What surprised viewers was that Ahn had initially been skeptical of his skills due to his celebrity status.

The artist also impressed him with his ability to catch fish, his resourcefulness, and his ability to flip the pancake right.

5) The idol smelling fish sauce

Another amusing blunder by the BTS star had viewers in stitches. While preparing ingredients for Korean pancakes, he accidentally sniffed fish sauce instead of soy sauce from the bottle.

The resulting expression was priceless, leaving fans chuckling while feeling slightly sorry for him.

This show marks the artist's first variety show appearance since his military discharge in June. The idol also debuted his solo variety program, RUN JIN.
