On July 16, the South Korean media outlet Dispatch shared a video featuring BTS Jin receiving a warm welcome at the Incheon International Airport following his return from the Summer Olympics 2024 torch relay. The clip was shared by the publication through its official YouTube channel, KOREA Dispatch.
As the idol entered the airport, hundreds of fans and the media personnel at the scene began shouting his name. The place was filled with screams and cheers and did not go silent till the idol departed from the airport. In response, BTS Jin acknowledged fans' presence by waving at them. He was guarded by five to six bodyguards.

On July 14, 2024, BTS Jin emerged as the first K-pop singer to participate for the Paris Olympics 2024 as a torchbearer. As the first runner, he carried the Torch of Peace for the Louvre Museum section of the relay. The idol donned a white jersey styled with matching trousers for his run near the Louvre Pyramid.
The idol was protected by thirty police officers on his walk to Rue de Rivoli, where he was handed the Torch of Peace. The idol subsequently walked and ran nearly 200 meters for about ten minutes and handed the torch to the former French national freestyle skier Sandara Laoura in front of the Louvre Pyramid.
