On October 11, 2024, BTS' Jin's Super Tuna full version reached the No.1 position in 50 countries on the iTunes Worldwide music chart. The track debuted at the top position on both the Worldwide iTunes Songs Chart and the European iTunes Song Chart, showcasing the international influence of the male artist.

For those unversed, BTS' Jin released Super Tuna's original version on December 4, 2021, with a music video. Later, he officially unveiled the track through streaming and audio platforms on October 21, 2022. In the music video, the male artist was grooving to the track on a beach with two background dancers. On October 11, the BTS member released an extended version of the song.


BTS' Jin's Super Tuna reached the No.1 position on iTunes US Top Songs Chart

Following the release of Super Tuna's full version, the track reached the No.1 position on the iTunes US Top Songs Chart within less than twenty-four hours of its release. It has occupied the No.1 position in other countries on the mentioned chart, including Armenia, Argentina, Australia, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Honduras, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, United States, Uzbekistan, Romania, Singapore, New Zeland, Latvia, and other regions.

The Super Tuna music video trended at the No. 2 position on YouTube worldwide, recording 2.5 million views and subsequently surpassed 700,000 likes. He also re-entered the Top 50 of the Global Digital Artist Ranking Chart, adding another milestone under his belt.

Subsequently, the fandom ARMYs celebrated BTS' Jin's latest milestone and shared multiple snippets for the artist. They trended various phrases, including 'SUPER TUNA OUT NOW,' 'SUPER TUNA DOMINATION,' 'CONGRATULATIONS JIN,' and other terms to showcase their support and encouragement for the artist virtually.

Meanwhile, BTS' Jin was appointed as the global brand ambassador for the Italian Luxury fashion house Gucci on August 8, 2024, by the creative director Sabato De Sarno through an Instagram post. Sarno mentioned the following words about the idol and stated:

"I am very excited to welcome Jin as Global Brand Ambassador. His warm and kind personality is truly magnetic, and his style is simply unique. He is a generous and extraordinary artist who is able to move people with his music, which makes us even more honored to share this journey with him. Welcoming Jin from BTS to the Gucci family as our new Global Brand Ambassador."

In recent news, BTS' Jin was discharged from his mandatory military service on June 12, 2024, following the completion of his eighteen months of service as an active-duty soldier. The male artist has launched his South Korean variety program Run Jin, which is available to stream on the official channel of BANGTAN TV.

He was announced as the first male brand ambassador for the renowned domestic cosmetics and skin-care brand Laneige. He would be featured in a campaign for the brand's best-selling cream, Skin 2-in-1 moisturizer and toner.
