BTS’ Jungkook becomes the first and only K-soloist to have 8 songs to reach #1 in 100 countries in iTunes’ history

BTS’ Jungkook has broken the record of being the first K-pop soloist to have as many as eight songs, reaching the number 1 spot in 100 countries on the worldwide iTunes charts.

On June 27, 2024, one of the BTS fans’ favorite songs, Still With You, became the eighth song to be added to this list. It made Jungkook not only the first but the only K-pop solo artist to have this achievement to his name.

Jungkook's Still With You becomes the eighth song to surpass #1 in 100 countries' iTunes

Jungkook made his official debut as a solo artist in July 2023 with the release of his hit digital single Seven, featuring Latto. The song quickly reached #1 in 100 countries on iTunes, setting a new record for the fastest achievement in iTunes history. Following this success, songs from his album GOLDEN also made an impact on the iTunes Charts.

Jungkook's solo single Still With You, released during BTS' annual FESTA celebration in 2020, quickly soared to the top of iTunes charts worldwide at the time of its release. It has finally achieved the milestone of reaching that #1 position on the worldwide iTunes Charts of 100 countries.

Though slowly, but steadily the song has surpassed a milestone belonging to the artist’s seven other songs. The eight songs and the number of countries they have topped are as follows:
