On Monday, November 25, Billboard Music Awards, aka BBMAs, released the list of nominees, which revealed BTS' Jungkook as the K-pop artist with the most nominations. Besides Jungkook, other nominees include K-pop idols and groups like BTS’ Jimin, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, SEVENTEEN, and ENHYPEN.
BTS' Jungkook is leading the list of K-pop artists in the 2024 Billboard Music Awards nominations with a total of six nominations. With this year’s nominations, Jeon Jungkook now has a total of seven Billboard nominations under his name. In 2023, BTS’ Jungkook was nominated under Top Global K-pop Song for SEVEN (ft. Latto).
Following BTS' Jungkook, Stray Kids are nominated under four categories for the 2024 BBMAs, while TXT got three nominations. Next, BTS’ Jimin and ENHYPEN both are named under two categories. The remaining K-pop groups SEVENTEEN, ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM, and ATEEZ are nominated under one category.

Billboard Music Awards 2024 will be held on December 12
The 2024 BBMAs will air on Fox (where the awards program initially aired in 1990) and Amazon's Fire TV Channels on December 12 at 8 pm ET. The award ceremony will also be broadcast on Paramount+.
The upcoming 2024 Billboard Music Awards event aims to "celebrate music’s greatest achievements", as stated in a press statement:
“The BBMAs will celebrate music’s greatest achievements with exclusive original performances, artist interviews, and award celebrations taking place from global locations and in the midst of sold-out tours.”
The eligibility dates for the 2024 awards coincide with Billboard's Year-End Charts tracking time frame, which runs from October 28, 2023, to October 19, 2024.
The performances at the awards ceremony will be released across Billboard.com, as well as via BBMAs and Billboard social handles.
