Jungkook conquers the "Best dance" title of ASEA as well as receives nominations for MAMA Awards

BTS’ Jungkook has officially been named the "Top Dance Challenge Star of ASEA" (Association of South East Asia) 2025. This highlights the global influence of the K-pop star, particularly in the matter of social media dance challenges.

From September 30 to October 8, 2024, he secured the top spot in the "Who is ASEA 2025's Best Dance Challenge Star?" poll. With overwhelming support from his fans, he amassed an impressive 32.583 million votes, comfortably claiming first place. Following him in second was EXO’s Baekhyun with 10.661 million votes, while ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo took third place with 8.069 million votes.

The BTS star's rise to the top can be attributed to his dance skills, which he used to regularly showcase through various dance challenges on his personal TikTok account. His performances span a wide range of styles and genres.

One of the standout moments of his dance challenge journey is his Smoke challenge video, which became a viral sensation last year. As of October, the video has surpassed a staggering 100 million views on TikTok.
