BTS’ Jungkook ranks first as the solo artist to receive the most attention from the public among all previous Grammy Award winners

Jungkook of BTS was declared the solo artist with “The Most Attention From The Public” among the Grammy Award winners. This calculation was released by Rankify and reported by Korean Stocks News on May 31, 2024.

Jungkook stands at the top of this list with 2,308 points among the pool of the biggest celebrities like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Drake, Harry Styles, and the like.

Calculations based on age preference and gender preference were also conducted to know the exact strata of demography who follow the BTS star passionately.


Jungkook tops Grammy rankings according to Rankify

Rankify is a trend analysis tool that aggregates data from various sources to determine which topics or individuals are garnering the most public interest over a given period.

The Rankify Trend Index combines the previous week's Google Trend Index and search volumes to indicate which trends garnered the most public attention over the past week.

According to the analysis for the fourth week of May, BTS ranked first among all Grammy Award winners in terms of trend index. Currently, BTS leads with 7,836 points. This speaks volumes about BTS’ popularity and the commitment of the ARMY fandom to keep them on top despite being in the military.

The second place is, however, taken by Jungkook, who has 2,308 points, down 175 points from the previous week. This makes him the most popular solo artist in the entire world to have made an impact with his work.

According to the gender preference analysis, 27% of men and 73% of women preferred Jungkook. In terms of preference by age, he was chosen by 14% of teenagers, 25% of those in their 20s, 25% of those in their 30s, 22% of those in their 40s, and 14% of those in their 50s.

Taylor Swift occupies the third spot with 2,058 points, a decrease of 286 points from the previous week. Justin Bieber is in fourth place with 1,350 points, Ariana Grande is in fifth with 1,142 points, Billie Eilish is in sixth with 1,103 points, Olivia Rodrigo is in seventh with 1,001 points, Lady Gaga is in eighth with 867 points, The Beatles are in ninth with 822 points, and Tyler is in tenth with 638 points.

The 11th to 20th positions are occupied by Bruno Mars, Sting, NAS, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, Beyoncé, Drake, and Babyface, respectively.


In other news, Jungkook also topped the survey and became the most popular idol in Japan once again. This survey was conducted by the IDOL CHAMP app from May 14 to May 28 globally.

Among all the nominees, he emerged victorious with over 39% of the total votes. As Japan is one of the biggest music markets, this became one more indicator of his global popularity.
