K-pop artists, including BTS’ Jungkook, RM, BLACKPINK's Lisa, and more, have submitted nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards. On October 22, As per The Hollywood Reporter, the 2025 Grammy Awards ballot includes artists like Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Beyoncé, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and many more.

The media outlet also highlighted the K-pop artists featured on the 2025 Grammy Awards ballot, including BTS members Jungkook and RM, the boy group Stray Kids, and Lisa from BLACKPINK. RM, Jungkook, and Lisa, who have released their solo music besides being a part of K-pop groups, have submitted their music in several notable categories like Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Music Video, and more.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids submitted their latest track, Chk Chk Boom, for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category and two songs, LALALALA and Chk Chk Boom, for the Song Of The Year category, among other categories.


From BTS' Jungkook, RM to BLACKPINK's Lisa and more: 2025 Grammy K-pop artists expected to appear on the ballot

BTS’ maknae Jungkook released his first solo album, GOLDEN, with the popular track Standing Next to You on November 3, 2023, before his military enlistment. Meanwhile, RM dropped his second album, titled Right Place, Wrong Person, with the song LOST! on May 24, 2024. The BTS leader recorded the album before his military enlistment, and it was released for public streaming after he had already begun his service.

On the other hand, BLACKPINK member Lisa made her solo comeback after three years with the single ROCKSTAR on June 27, 2024. She collaborated with Rosalía for her song New Woman, released on August 14. JYP Entertainment boy group Stray Kids dropped their album ROCK-STAR with the title song LALALALA on November 10, 2024. They made their 2024 comeback with the album ATE with the title track Chk Chk Boom on July 19. Here are the official submissions by K-pop artists to the 2025 Grammy Awards.

  • Song of the year — Standing Next to You (The award for this category will be given to the songwriters and not Jungkook)

  • Best Pop Duo/Group Performance — 3D featuring Jack Harlow
  • Best Pop Vocal Album — GOLDEN
  • Best Music Video — Standing Next to You

3) BLACKPINK's Lisa

  • Record Of The Year — New Woman featuring Rosalía

  • Best New Artist

Notably, music releases between September 16, 2023, and August 30, 2024, are eligible for the submissions of 2025 Grammy Awards nominations. The Recording Academy will unveil the official nominations for the award ceremony on November 8, 2025. The Grammy Awards show will take place at Crypto.com Arena in L.A. on February 2, 2025.
