BTS’ Jungkook's 3D ft. Jack Harlow reportedly becomes the Key Contributor to Sony Music Publishing's success in 2023

On Saturday, September 21, Sony Music Publishing revealed that BTS Jungkook's 3D ft. Jack Harlow was one of the key contributors to the company's success in 2023. On September 21, at the 2024 SESAC Music Awards, Sony Music Publishing won the Publisher of the Year category, and this marks its third consecutive win in the category at the award show.

Additionally, given that SESAC is considered to be one of the 3 major performing rights organizations in the U.S., the win was of a large scale for Sony Music Publishing. In light of the same, the company named three songs as the major contributors to the success it faced in 2023. These tracks include Good Good by Usher and Summer Walker, BTS Jungkook's 3D ft. Jack Harlow and SZA's Used.

BTS' Jungkook, otherwise known as Jeon Jung-kook is a South Korean singer housed under Big Hit Music. The idol debuted alongside his fellow BTS members in 2013, and the group has now grown into one of the most influential music artists in the industry. While the idol has been a key contributor to BTS' tracks, the idol has also paved a solo career for himself.

Apart from his solo songs in BTS albums like My Time, Euphoria, etc., the idol also released an independent solo track through SoundCloud in 2020 called Still With You. However, the official kickstart of his solo career was in July 2023 when he rolled out his debut single, Seven feat. Latto. The music video of the track also starred the famous South Korean actress, Han So-hee.

Following his solo debut, the idol released his first full-length album, GOLDEN, in November 2023. The album was completely produced in English and held its title track as the song, Standing Next to You. While the idol enlisted in the military on December 11, the idol pre-recorded a track for ARMYs for BTS' 11th debut anniversary.

The track was called Never Let Go and it talked about his feelings towards ARMYs and his heartwarming relationship with the fandom. Following the same, the idol hasn't rolled out any musical releases. However, he released his documentary, Jungkook: I AM STILL, on September 21. The idol's documentary will run for a month in theatres all around the world.

Therefore, fans have been rushing in to get their tickets to the same. The documentary is expected to showcase the idol's journey to stardom. It also exposes the idol's challenges, hardships, and other behind-the-scenes aspects of his solo career creation, especially the work that went into producing his first album, GOLDEN.

Some of the inclusions in the documentary include stage performances, interviews, vlogs, and more. On the other hand, Jungkook is currently serving his mandatory enlistment alongside Jimin. The two BTS members entered the military through the Buddy System.


This is a system that allows friends, family members, and close acquaintances to enlist together and have each other support one another during the challenging period of military training. The idol and Jimin are expected to be discharged from the military in June 2025.
