BTS' Jungkook's unprecedented success as a K-pop soloist with the release of GOLDEN
BTS' Jungkook released his debut solo album, GOLDEN, with 11 English tracks on November 3, 2023. The album's title track, Standing Next To You, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, becoming his third song to top the chart in 2023. It was also his third song from the album to come atop the chart, following SEVEN and 3D's No. 1 entries earlier.
The album became the fastest album by a Korean solo act to earn over 1 billion streams on the day of its release. It was due to its pre-released single, SEVEN (feat.
