BTS’ BTS' Jungkook's Never Let Go received the MVP plaque on Pop-K Top 10 Friday for July 2024. On Thursday, August 1, Idol Champ announced the results of the Monthly winner of Pop-K Top 10 Friday by TOKYO FM's K-Star chart.

The BTS vocalist dedicated the song to his fans ARMYs and is known to have co-written the lyrics of the song. His agency BIGHIT MUSIC described the song as:

““Never Let Go” is a heartfelt tribute to Jung Kook’s fans encapsulating the message “to never let go of each other’s hands,” as a token of gratitude for the boundless love from ARMY all over the world.”

Jungkook was awarded an MVP plaque as his solo song Never Let Go topped the K-Star songs chart for the first three weeks of July.

Although Never Let Go ranked no. 2 in the fourth week of July, it received the maximum number of votes and turned out to be the MVP of the month. Jungkook released this track on Friday, June 7, 2024, as a part of the 2024 BTS FESTA content, in commemoration of the K-pop boy group's 11th debut anniversary.


BTS’ Jungkook's Never Let Go surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify becoming his 16th solo song to do so

On July 24, Dispatch reported that BTS’ Jungkook's latest solo single Never Let Go had surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, the largest music service platform in the world. This is a notable achievement for the K-pop idol as it became his 16th solo track to reach this milestone, out of which six songs are from his first solo album GOLDEN. With this new feat, he became the first and only K-pop solo artist with most songs reaching 100 million plays on Spotify.

Jungkook's upcoming activities

The BTS member began his military service journey on December 12, 2023, and is currently fulfilling his national duties. Recently, his agency HYBE announced the opening of his solo exhibition titled Jung Kook Exhibition “GOLDEN: The Moments”.

HYBE INSIGHT described the exhibition as:

“It’s based on countless journeys and experiences ranging from his debut to when he became a global pop star. “GOLDEN: The Moments” exhibition records the moments in which he presented his musical world to an even wider world through the “GOLDEN” album.”

It is set to begin on Friday, August 30, 2024, and will be open till Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Le Meridien Moxy Building, 1-2F, 38 Myeongdong 8na-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul.

On the other hand, he will also be appearing in the traveling variety show Are You Sure?! Along with his fellow BTS member Jimin. This variety show will showcase different moments and memories created by the two as they travel from the US, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo in Japan. The show will premiere on Thursday, August 8 on Disney+.
