On July 12, 2024, BTS Jungkook's China fanbase created banners and ads covering Seoul's Hongdae Station and taxi stand screens at HYBE's main entrance to commemorate SEVEN's 1st year anniversary. The song was released by the BTS idol on July 14, 2023, which marked the beginning of his solo endeavors.

Jungkook's SEVEN topped the Billboard Hot 100 and the Global 200. He became the second K-pop and Korean soloist to debut at No. 1 on the chart after Jimin and the first Korean solo act to chart a song on the Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks.

Furthermore, he also won the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, and the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards for SEVEN.

Additionally, Bomnal Café aka Flower Café, decorated its venue with pictures of the Standing Next To You singer and snippets from SEVEN. The café is located at the back entrance of the HYBE building in Seoul. Fans were delighted as they flocked to the café to celebrate the song's first-year celebration.

BTS' Jungkook is set to release new upcoming content

The South Korean musician's official social media accounts dropped a mysterious teaser image titled Jung Kook: I Am Still on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Billboard reported that the idol hinted at his upcoming solo documentary film, which will be released in theaters soon. However, HYBE hasn't yet announced the dates.

Fans also speculated that the Please Don't Change singer might have hinted at the release of his upcoming documentary film on his last Weverse livestream in December 2023, ahead of his enlistment. Jungkook had asked his fans to wait for about six months as he planned to release content around mid-2024.

Furthermore, the non-profit organization, Global Citizen, tweeted on X and expressed their anticipation for the upcoming documentary. In 2023, the BTS idol headlined the Global Citizen Festival in Chicago to contribute to their initiative to end worldwide poverty.

The news followed after he released a digital single, Never Let Go, on June 7, 2024—a song dedicated to his fans during the BTS FESTA celebration. The song peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The song reached No. 1 on iTunes in over 100 countries, including Brazil, Spain, Italy, and India, among others.

Meanwhile, Jimin and Jungkook of BTS, who are presently serving in the military, are set to release their forthcoming travel show, Are You Sure?, on Disney+. The eight-part series was filmed in 2023 at several places, including Japan's Sapporo, Jeju Island, and New York City. The official launch trailer was dropped on July 12, 2024, at 9 AM KST.

In other news, Jungkook enlisted in the Republic of Korea Army (ROK) on December 12, 2023, alongside his bandmate Park Jimin. They are set to return in June 2025 along with BTS' Namjoon, Taehyung, and SUGA, and resume group activities. Furthermore, Jimin's second solo album, MUSE, is set to be released on July 19, 2024.
