BTS’ Kim Taehyung on plans to return to acting

During the promotion of his first album Layover, Kim Taehyung appeared on IU's talk show known as IU's Pallette. In episode 24 released on September 12, 2023, IU asked V if he was receiving any proposals from drama or movie directors and how was his reaction to them.

He confirmed that he was receiving offers for the same, however his priority was the album Layover. He said:

“So very thankfully, they sent me many really wonderful works. But honestly, for me the album was priority, because what ARMYs are waiting for the most right now is the album. That's what I think so, I'm very sorry, but everything else I would like to do later.”

The Slow Dancing singer revealed that he was open to working in films and dramas in the future if the directors were still interested in him. He stated:

“Yes, later on, if I come to mind again, then just once, just one more time, just once could they please give me a chance again? Although I wasn't able to do it this time, next time I'll really do my very best. I'll even sleep less so I can do it.”
