BTS’ official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, released a new video of RM singing his brand new song, Nuts. After releasing music videos for three of his latest songs from his album, Come Back To Me, LOST!, and Groin, BTS’ production decided to do something different in case of releasing another song.

Hence, instead of a music video, they released a live performance video of RM singing the song Nuts. Aside from showcasing his vocals, he even provided fans with some entertainment by being quirky in the video.

The unconventional form of singing and the deep lyrics make the song a standout in the album, according to the fans. This video was reportedly filmed in Fish Factory Studio, North West London.

RM’s song Nuts grabs attention with a new live video

RM’s new album, Right Place, Wrong Person, was released on May 24, 2024, and contributed as his second solo album. While its title and pre-release track, Come Back To Me, has already gained a lot of traction, there was another song released in the form of a video on YouTube.

However, the released video was not an MV but was released as a “live video.” In this video, RM sits in front of a studio setup and sings the entire song by moving here and about throughout the video.

Namjoon starts the video in the seat of a recording studio and then transitions to the sofa, the stairs, and to the basement. Nuts has a techno and upbeat tune, but it hits home with the lyrics and their deep meaning.

The major part of the lyrics is constituted of the words,

“I could make this right place for you / I could make it just right for you / I could play this right chord for you / I could take you right to the moon / I could make this right place for you / I could make you right.”

Some of the lyrics that trended on social media for their depth were,

“Since you left, I finally feel alive / Every night, I write letters to my past self / With just a glass of whiskey, all the memories come pouring out, praying to a god I don’t even believe in / Forever, ever, ever wish you true happiness, damn.”

Fans were especially impressed by RM’s ability to express this vulnerability with electro music in a quirky way. This video even ends with RM making a silly and funny gesture at the end, instantly lightening the mood.

Fans also deemed RM a genius for the seamless transition between the track Nuts and its consequent song, Out Of Love. They pointed out that while listening to the album’s playlist, it’s hardly noticeable when the songs switch to the next as the music has been done skillfully.

The Nuts live video currently stands at 400K+ views on YouTube with 200K+ likes.
