On Tuesday, June 18, the BTS X Despicable ME 4 collaboration was announced on X in celebration of the animated movie's sequel release on July 3. For the collaboration, limited-edition merchandise is expected to be released. The pre-sale for the merchandise collection will kickstart on June 19 at 11 am PT.
The merch will include BTS-inspired Minion dolls, t-shirts, hoodies, and more. While this merchandise collection will be available on BTS' Weverse Shop website, it will also be released through exclusive pop-up stores that will be set up between June 21 and July 3. The cities for the pop-up stores include Los Angeles, Seoul, and Tokyo.

As mentioned, the pre-order or the pre-sale for the BTS X Despicable Me 4 limited-edition merchandise will kickstart through Weverse on June 19 and will last till July 1. The shipping for the same is expected to begin on Jule 26.
Additionally, there's a limit to how many products fans can buy from the BTS X Despicable Me 4. One person or one Weverse account can't purchase more than three products. Apart from the merchandise collection, the collaboration is also expected to release BTS-shaped Minion figurines.
These figurines will be released on Funko Pop's official website on June 21 at 9 am PT. Though the price range for the figurines hasn't been confirmed yet, they are expected to be around $70-80. Here are all the products and their prices in the BTS X Despicable Me 4 collection:

In other news, all the BTS members other than Jin are currently enrolled in their mandatory military service. After completing his 18-month service as an active drill instructor, Jin was discharged from the military on June 12. Now, he's preparing to resume his schedule as a soloist. The idol is reportedly expected to roll out his solo album in the second half of 2024.
Furthermore, j-hope is expected to return from his military service in October this year, and all the other BTS members will be discharged in June 2025. Regardless, the members have been releasing their solo projects from time to time, which they pre-recorded. Most recently, Jimin announced his second solo album, Muse, which is scheduled to be released on July 19.
