Kim Se-jeong announced on Weverse on June 29 that she has started filming for Drunken Romance with Lee Jong-won, which is rumored to debut on September 9. Formerly called In the Name of Alcohol, the television series tells the tale of a local brewer and a salesperson for a liquor corporation.
Drunken Romance, which is helmed by Park Seon-ho, who is well-known for his work on well-liked K-dramas such as Business Proposal, Suspicious Partner, and My Strange Hero, looks to have an intriguing story. This is the second time that Se-jeong and Seon-ho will be working together after having worked on Business Proposal.

The 12-episode romantic comedy reportedly started filming in May. On June 16, a number of images and videos from the site went viral. Fans were especially thrilled to find a selfie of Kim Se-jeong snapped in a vehicle mirror among the posted photos, in addition to other behind-the-scenes glimpses from the Pohang Si set. Fans also spotted both actors and the rest of the crew filming in Busan.
Drunken Romance, which honors the broadcaster's 20th anniversary, is a part of ENA's drama schedule for the second half of the year, and it has already attracted a lot of interest.
