Lovely Runner fame Byeon Woo-seok is reported to make a special appearance in the ongoing tvN drama No Gain No Love. On August 30, tvN announced to various Korean media outlets that Byeon Woo Seok would appear in the tvN drama No Gain No Love as a cameo.

According to a report from Newsen, the production team of No Gain No Love announced,

"Byun Woo-seok will make a special appearance in the next episode. It was possible thanks to his connection with PD Kim Jung-sik."

Kim Jung-sik, the director of the drama No Gain No Love, worked with Byeon Woo-seok in the 2023 drama Strong Girl Nam-soon.

No Gain No Love: The plot, the cast

Son Hae-yeong values financial security highly and seeks to avoid any potential monetary losses. Faced with the prospect of missing out on a job promotion at her workplace, she devises a plan to stage a fake wedding to secure her position. To execute this plan, she enlists the assistance of Kim Ji-uk, who agrees to act as her fiancé.

Ji-uk works part-time as a cashier at a local convenience store. He is known for his compassionate nature and strong sense of justice, always striving to assist those in need and uphold ethical principles. However, he experiences difficulty interacting smoothly with one individual: Hae-yeong.

In an unexpected turn of events, when Hae-yeong approaches Ji-uk with a peculiar request - to serve as a stand-in groom for her upcoming nuptials, despite his initial decline, Ji-uk ultimately agrees to her proposal.

Shin Min-a plays the role of Hae-young. She is well known for starring in television dramas My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho (2010), Oh My Venus (2015), Tomorrow, With You (2017), Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021), and Our Blues (2022).

Kim Young-dae plays Kim Ji-uk. He is known for appearing in television series like Extraordinary You (2019), The Penthouse: War In Life (2020–2021), Shooting Stars (2022), and The Forbidden Marriage (2022–2023).

This series also has Lee Sang-yi playing Bok Gyu-hyeon, a third-generation chaebol and a non-marriage person who does not believe in fateful love. Additionally, Han Ji-hyun from The Penthouse: War In Life (2020–2021) and Cheer Up (2022) plays the role of Nam Ja-yeon, a famous web novel writer who only writes about love.

This romantic comedy series is written by Kim Hye-young, the writer of the very popular Korean drama Her Private Life.
