"Can never guess what’s on his mind” — Fans amused by BTS' Jin’s outlandish wishes to box Mike Tyson and compete in a flea jump-off

On August 26, the popular fashion magazine Harper’s BAZAAR Korea released a brief interview with BTS' Jin via their official social media channels. In the video, Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, answers some questions about himself. One of the questions asked what things he would like to try for his content. To this, he replied that he would like to try three things:

“Spend 1 billion Won in an hour? It's actually something that's hard to do isn't it? And then.. hm, Boxing with Tyson-ssi. But I feel like it would be dangerous even if that person only used a finger.”

He added:

“Also I like something that is out of the box so a competition of who can jump the furthest with a flea. I like things that requires physical activity.”

Jin's interesting answers stunned his fans, who flooded the internet with their mixed emotions. One of his fans wrote:

Many other reactions were recorded on the internet.

Some BTS' Jin admirers seemed amazed at his idea of boxing with Mike Tyson.

“Is jin secretly a boxing fan, cause he mentioned Tyson like second time!” an X user wrote.

“A jumping compition with a flea? okay ARMY we all need to dress up in flea costumes and challenge Jin to a “who can jump the farthest” contest! It can be a RUN JIN episode,” another fan stated.

BTS' Jin became the face of Harper’s BAZAAR Korea for September 2024 edition

Following his discharge from compulsory military duty on June 12, BTS' Jin has consistently been in the headlines with his appearance on the variety show Half-Star Hotel In Lost Island, his role as a torchbearer at the Paris Olympics 2024, and his own vlog series, Run Jin. The Epiphany vocalist’s latest endeavor, the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR Korea, is getting lots of praise from his fans on the internet right now.

Despite Harper's BAZAAR Korea's previous teasers and picture releases featuring Jin, his most recent interview has generated even more interest. During the conversation, the singer was asked a number of questions, including one about his preferred nickname. He revealed that he preferred "World Wide Handsome" (WWH) because its popularity had exceeded his expectations.

One of the multiple questions concerned BTS' Jin's most unforgettable moment. This prompted him to share that he had shed many tears upon the group's first prize acceptance at the Melon Music Awards.
