“Can’t wait for this” — Fans go crazy over BLACKPINK’s Lisa first look from HBO’s upcoming 'The White Lotus' season 3

On Monday, November 11, 2024, HBO Max released the first official look at their upcoming series, The White Lotus Season 3, starring BLACKPINK's Lisa, Natasha Rothwell, Walton Goggins, Parker Posey, and more. The third installment of the popular HBO Original series will premiere in 2025.

The latest first-look teaser clip showed the K-pop sensation as a hotel employee named Mook. The entire clip only contained the BLACKPINK idol's dialogue as montages of other leading cast members were displayed on the screen. She says:

"Welcome to The White Lotus in Thailand."

Fans were in a buzz to get the first peek of the K-pop phenomenon's acting debut. Admirers trended several hashtags on X, including "#LISAxTheWhiteLotus," and expressed their anticipation for the upcoming release. One fan wrote:

"I actually can't wait for this."

Supporters noted that one of the scenes from the first look clip was filmed at the Khiri Wongkaram temple in Koh Samui, Thailand. Some fans speculated that the ROCKSTAR rapper's character could be similar to the hotel managers from the previous seasons, where the managers led secret lives.

"It’s said one of the scenes was filmed at Khiri Wongkaram temple in Koh Samui. It was filmed at the temple’s gate. Lisa’s character’s name is Mook (Pearl). #LISA was wearing a helmet throughout the whole shoot from morning till afternoon," one fan wrote.

"If you’ve watched season 1 and 2 of the white lotus, you can get an idea of what lisa’s character “mook” could be," another fan wrote.

The White Lotus season 1 had a hotel manager named Armond, played by Australian actor Murray Bartlett. Armond took care of the hotel and its elite guests while also being involved in drugs and terrible choices that led to his death.
