TOMORROW X TOGETHER or TXT's Huening Kai bids adieu to his show, Huening Kai Wants to Be in a Band, which aired its fourth episode on September 9, 2024, on the band's YouTube channel. In the last episode (episode 4), the TXT idol was joined by Black Tetra—Hongik University's first and only rock band.

With Black Tetra, the TXT idol experienced several things that band members do besides performing. He learned how to use an audio mixer and work with others to write a performance plan. OSEN reported that during his last episode, Heuning Kai mentioned that he felt like he was back at college during the show's filming.

"I felt like I was spending my youth meeting college friends and playing in a band with them. I felt once again, 'I really like music.' I was so happy while filming. I still have a lot of love for bands, so who knows. I can go back again," he said.

Fans were a bit disheartened to say goodbye to the show, however, they expressed enthusiasm for the show's second season. One fan wrote on X,

"You have worked hard, Kai. Cannot wait to see what's next for you!"

Admirers wished him luck for his journey ahead and expressed how much they had enjoyed the show.

"THANK YOU HUENINGKAI FOR BEING SO AMAZING AND POSTING YOU’RE THE BEST," one fan wrote.
"Thank you for having such a great content. I hope for 2nd season cause it'so nice, huhu. I'm here waitingggg!!" another fan added.
"I can’t believe its over :( this should have been a thing! I hope they resume it at some point, my talented bby!!" another fan wrote.

Others praised the K-pop sensation for his dedication and for producing a program that allowed viewers to see Huening Kai participate in a rock band.

"Loved Hueband, but now what am I supposed to do with my Wednesdays?" one fan questioned.
"You did incredibly well the whole show run. I never seen someone as talented and hardworking as you ! I also dearly loved the song choice you chose for the last performance it’s so heartwarming," another fan said.
"Thank you Huening band, it was fun watching you playing different types of music instruments, you were cool especially in the first cover," one other fan added.
