V was named a brand ambassador for Cartier on July 19, 2023, simultaneously becoming the face of their Panthère de Cartier collection. The brand’s efforts to maintain a strong relationship with V have since been evident.

Aaron Kang, Cartier’s Marketing & Communications Director, shared on Instagram that he delivered the specially prepared lunchboxes to V. He posted a picture of nine different food items and captioned the Instagram story:

"He loved them all"

The meal, crafted by Cartier’s Food Consultant Song Paryu, was tailored as per V’s preferences and demanding military routine. Paryu also shared details about the preparation on his Instagram page and emphasized that Taehyung's military base camp is located about 800 kilometers away from them.

Translated to English, the caption of his Instagram post read:

"Ahead of schedule by 800 km, I doubted if I could manage it. However, I knew he would appreciate it. The lunch box was crafted from fresh sashimi. I stayed up all night to ensure it was ready on time. I hope you enjoy the meal and stay strong. I commend myself for the hard work."

V's FRI(END)S' performance video was in collaboration with Cartier, further solidifying their strong partnership. When Taehyung was named the brand's ambassador, Cartier's Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Arnaud Carrez, expressed his admiration for the idol, stating:

"We naturally chose V because we wanted to express the charm and aura of the panda. As a dancer, musician, and art lover, V, full of personality and strong feelings, makes choices guided by his creativity, and shows only his own style and elegance."

The news about the brand's recent gesture soon began trending online, with hashtags going viral as fans celebrated Cartier's actions.
