On November 13, 2024, HYBE's minority shareholders released an official statement regarding the company's ongoing conflict with Min Hee-jin. The shareholders stated that the company should reflect on and improve "unreasonable aspects" of its operations and communication with its subsidiaries.

The minority shareholders asserted that they would take necessary legal actions against "certain fandoms" and Min Hee-jin for allegedly smearing the company's reputation.

Furthermore, they said that the former ADOR CEO should stop dragging K-pop artists "including NewJeans" into her ongoing feud.

"HYBE should use this incident as an opportunity for deep reflection to overcome the company’s unreasonable aspects and improve communication and transparency. Min Hee Jin of ADOR should stop dragging K-Pop artists, including NewJeans and HYBE, into her dispute."

They added that the political parties should judge both parties equally without "attacking" the parent company with "one-sided claims." The shareholders also mentioned a "certain fandom," seemingly hinting NewJeans' fandom to cease unnecessary lawsuits and petitions and drag the conflict further.

"The political circle should stop slandering and attacking HYBE based on one-sided claims of a certain fandom. Certain fandoms should cease unnecessary lawsuits and petitions, adding fatigue to both Korean and international K-Pop fans."

NewJeans allegedly sent a certified letter to HYBE, threatening them with contract termination

On November 13, Yonhap News reported that NewJeans sent a letter demanding HYBE and its subsidiary label, ADOR, to fulfill their demands within the next 14 days. Although their demands haven't been disclosed yet, the letter seems to be about re-appointing Min Hee-jin as ADOR's CEO.

The group had previously demanded on their YouTube livestream that Min Hee-jin be reinstated as the label's CEO and that ADOR's operation should be restored as before. However, the label's board of directors declined their request.

Meanwhile, Yonhap News reported that ADOR's rookie girl group allegedly threatened to terminate their contract. They wrote:

"If you do not accept our request for corrective action, we will terminate our exclusive contract. Correct all serious violations of the exclusive contract that we are talking about within 14 days of receiving this letter. We inform you that if ADOR does not accept the corrective action request, we will terminate our exclusive contract."

The girl group continued:

"There are currently groundless rumors circulating about the families and acquaintances of the NewJeans members, but NewJeans has nothing to do with these rumors. We will respond firmly to those who spread false rumors to slander New Jeans"

Reportedly, the certified letter was signed by all five group members: Lee Hye-in, Kim Min-ji, Marsh Danielle, Hanni Pham, and Kang Hae-rin. However, JoyNews24 reported on November 13, 2024, that ADOR stated that they hadn't received the letter yet.
