The brand, reportedly co-founded by the BTS star and celebrity chef Baek Jong-won, is set to open its doors in Yesan, South Chungcheong Province, with a pre-opening on December 16 and a grand opening on December 20.

The posted images showcased the store's exterior, featuring a brick-red façade with a sleek, modern design. From the pictures shared, some also noted barrels labeled "Oloroso Sherry" and "Tawny Ports," speculating that these types of aged wines might be part of the products offered in the future.

Fans rushed to social media to share their excitement and comment on the store’s aesthetic appeal. An X user, @seokjinbit, wrote,

More about the new joint venture between BTS' Jin and Chef Baek Jong-won

The collaboration between the BTS member and Baek Jong-won aims to promote their traditional Korean liquor "IGIN," which will be distributed by Yesan Doga, an agricultural corporation supported by both stars.

As per their Instagram, IGIN is a distilled spirit made from high-quality rice and locally sourced apples, plums, and watermelons. Moreover, there will be ready-to-drink (RTD) options, such as "IGIN Sweet Tonic" and "IGIN Tangy Tonic."

This project marks the BTS eldest's first business initiative outside of his music career and reflects his interest in highlighting Korea’s traditional beverages on a global stage.

In addition to the store opening, a special IGIN pop-up event is planned in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu from December 20 to December 24, with pre-reservations available through Naver Smart Place starting December 16. The event will give fans an exclusive opportunity to experience the new brand up close.

Fans eagerly anticipate the official launch of the store and its products, marking another milestone for the BTS star in his evolving career.

The Epiphany singer recently completed his military service, in June 2024, and also released his first solo album, Happy, in November 2024.
