The highly anticipated variety show Finland Rent-a-Room, starring Lee Je-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Cha Eun-woo has released the poster and trailer on 30 October. Finland Rent-a-Room will bring viewers an immersive experience as these actors swap city life for rural Finland.
Premiering on December 6 at 8:40 p.m. KST, the tvN series will showcase the “urban actors’” adventures as they adjust to life in a Finnish village, renowned for being the world’s happiest country.
The new teaser and posters spotlight their farmhouse lifestyle and feature the cast lounging together in a cozy setting, hinting at the show’s relaxed, healing atmosphere.
A peek into Finland Rent-a-Room
In Finland Rent-a-Room, Lee Je-hoon, known for Signal, Lee Dong-hwi from Reply 1988, ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo, who is also popular for his role in True Beauty, and Kwak Dong-yeon, who played the role of Hong Soo-cheol in Queen of Tears immerse themselves in Finnish community life, tackling farm work, spending time with local hosts, and bonding with neighbors—elements that tourists rarely experience.
In one of the posters, the cast can be seen at the farmhouse. In the second poster, they can be seen relaxing on a bed.
The teaser of Finland Rent-a-Room shows highlights, including Lee Je-hoon riding a tractor and Cha Eun-woo horseback riding through the water as they face unique challenges and try to adapt to their new surroundings.
"Lee Je-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, Kwak Dong-yeon, and Cha Eun-woo live in a rented room that is very close to nature in a rural Finnish village. It will provide a variety of fun with a different community life that tourists cannot experience, such as hanging out with local hosts as well as their real neighbors and helping them work." said Producer Lee Se-young, who also directed the show.
He added that Finland Rent-a-Room would showcase various aspects of Finnish life, allowing viewers to experience the unique charm and culture of rural Finland, as reported by Sports Chosun.

Following his breakthrough in the acclaimed independent film Bleak Night, Lee Je-hoon built a strong television presence with notable roles in series like Signal, Where Stars Land, Taxi Driver, and Move to Heaven. He currently has several upcoming projects, including The Art of Negotiation and Taxi Driver 3.
Lee Dong-hwi rose to fame with his role in the critically acclaimed series Reply 1988. He also starred in Extreme Job, one of South Korea’s highest-grossing films. His recent projects include Can We Get Married? and The Plot.
Cha Eun-woo, a member of the South Korean boy band Astro, debuted as a solo artist with his EP Entity in early this year. He began his acting career with the film My Brilliant Life and is well known for his roles in Gangnam Beauty, True Beauty, Island, A Good Day to Be a Dog, and Wonderful World.
Kwak Dong-yeon debuted as an actor in the series My Husband Got a Family, earning him the Best Young Actor Award at the Korea Drama Awards. He is also widely recognized for his roles in Gangnam Beauty, My Strange Hero, Never Twice, Vincenzo, Big Mouth, and Queen of Tears.
