Choi Woo-shik's agency denies even receiving an offer
In June 2024, rumors surfaced that Kim Da-mi was considering the lead role in A Hundred Memories after receiving an offer. On August 29, another rumor suggested that Woo-shik would join her as the male lead in the drama.
This could have marked their third collaboration, sparking excitement among fans eager to see their evolving on-screen chemistry. The duo previously starred together in the 2018 film The Witch: Part 1 - The Subversion and the hit 2021 romance drama Our Beloved Summer.
However, fans were disappointed to learn that Choi Woo-shik will not be appearing alongside Kim Da-mi in the upcoming drama A Hundred Memories, as his agency clarified that he was never offered the role, contrary to earlier reports.
A Hundred Memories, a JTBC period drama set in the 1980s, revolves around the friendships and romantic lives of bus conductors who assisted passengers on buses. The drama has drawn attention, as Kim Da-mi is reportedly considering the role of Ko Young-rye, a conductor for Cheong-a Transport in the series.
Directed by Kim Sang-ho, known for Thirty-Nine, and written by Yang Hee-sung, the writer behind tvN's Crash Course in Romance, the drama is being produced by the well-established company SLL. Filming is set to begin in January 2025, with its release expected in the second half of the year.
