On Friday, August 9, following BTS SUGA's DUI incident, one of the most famous and influential BTS fan accounts, ARMY52Hz, announced its deactivation. Soon after the controversy landed on the internet, the X page posted that they'd be deleting their account, which left many fellow ARMYs in shock.

The account has been one of the renowned internet spaces where people gain information, updates, and other fan content regarding the BTS members. Apart from their consistent and high-reaching posts, they also hold a website where fans easily access BTS songs and other forms of content. Therefore, many fans were shocked to see such a huge site shutting down its website and social media pages.

However, ARMYs also came forward to express that they don't stand with the account. Many expressed unhappiness that the account's recent actions were against SUGA and were allegedly hating on the idol.

"Everyone is suffering. We ask for a quick decision," the account tweeted in relation to SUGA's DUI case.

One fan asked others to report and block the account:

Some others said that it's a good thing that the account was getting deactivated:

"Pls don’t judge all karmys based on this. a lot of them are roasting this acc," said a fan on X.
"Good riddance & I hope they never come back. @ARMY52Hz led the boycott of Sweet Night in 2020 but instead of standing up for Taehyung, many FBs defended them. It's not surprising their ego got big & they felt confident openly being antis to many members," stated a netizen on X.
"The music team @ARMY52Hz. not only deactivated but also deleted the website ARMYs used to generate streaming playlists. The ppl behind that account truly acted high and mighty. Good riddance. I hope karmys can built something new for themselves," said a fan on X.

More ARMYs came forward, calling out the account for their disrespectful actions towards BTS' SUGA.

"That (army52hz) are moving like haters, demanding for something that only haters & pple who want BTS to disband like who tf are u. If u gonna act like a hater just delete ur f ACC," said a fan on X.
"The world's biggest fandom is crumbling down by their own deed, the fndm is totally ruined. They will be the reason of grp's downfall. I feel bad for BTS bcoz they made the grp on top by their blood sweet & tears," said a fan on X.
"And I hope they never come back," stated a netizen.
"If they were really armys they wouldn't have deleted the website..that just tells they changed the admins," stated another netizen.

All you need to know about BTS SUGA's DUI incident

On August 7, a police report said that BTS' SUGA was charged with DUI. Soon, the idol released a statement expressing that he was returning home after meeting his friends for drinks. Since the electric scooter/kickboard was the nearest choice, SUGA rode it home.

While no one was hurt during the incident, the idol was fined and charged for his actions. However, the recent charges have not affected his current military service. In addition to the statement released by the idol, BigHit Music also released statements regarding the issue. The statement apologized to those the idol might have disappointed with the recent DUI incident.

ARMYs have been expressing mixed reactions regarding the recent DUI incident. Many believe that the incident was not serious as it didn't harm anyone and the idol also paid the repercussions for the same. However, many others have been advocating for the idol's departure from the group and directing hate towards SUGA.
