All you need to know about GOT7 and their upcoming comeback in 2025
GOT7 is a South Korean K-pop boy group that debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2014. The group consists of the members Mark, Jay B, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom. The group's first release was an EP called Got It? in 2014, which immediately made an impression on the industry by peaking on both the Goan Album Chart and Billboard's World Albums Chart.
Following their debut, the group rolled out several other tracks that went viral. Some of their famous tracks include Just Right, NOT BY THE MOON, You Calling My Name, Never Ever, If You Do, and more. However, in 2021, following the expiration of their contract with JYP Entertainment, the group decided to depart the agency.
Therefore, all the members are now housed under different labels and the group is under Warner Music Korea. They also launched a new logo and social media accounts. While the group's last comeback was in May 2022, where they released their self-titled EP, GOT7, they didn't release any music following the same. The members were also said to be concentrating on their solo careers.
On November 30, 2024, it was reported that the members would be reuniting as a group for a new album released in January 2025. Following the initial speculations both, the leader of the group Jay B, and his fellow member BamBam, confirmed the upcoming comeback in 2025.
Here's what Jay B said on December 7 during his solo concert:
“GOT7 will comeback on 20 January 2025.”
According to the recent teaser release, the group is scheduled to make its comeback on January 20, 2025.
