'CONGRATULATIONS JIMIN' trends on X as the BTS member's Who becomes the fastest 2024 song to reach 400M streams on Spotify

On Thursday, August 29, it was revealed that BTS member Jimin's Who, the track from his second solo album, Muse, was the fastest track, released in 2024, to reach 400 million streams on Spotify. This was achieved after 41 days of the release of the song and its album. Muse was released on July 19, 2024.

This achievement also makes Who the fourth song in history to have ever reached this milestone. Following the announcement, fans were elated and proud of the K-pop idol. Given that the album and the song were released during the idol's mandatory military enlistment, fans praised him for his remarkable achievement despite his absence from the industry.

Soon after the news landed on the internet, fans began to trend several congratulatory hashtags on X. Here are a few reactions to the same:

All you need to know about BTS Jimin's solo career and his latest album release, Muse

Jimin, otherwise known as Park Ji-min, is the vocalist and main dancer of the K-pop boy group, BTS. The idol debuted under BigHit Entertainment, alongside his fellow BTS members on June 13, 2016. Following his debut, the idol has not only achieved as a group member but also as a soloist.

He slowly kicked off his solo endeavors through solo tracks on BTS albums like Serendipity and Lie. Following the fans' immense love and support for the same, the idol released his first solo single, Promise, in 2018. The song still stands as one of the most cherished songs among ARMYs. However, his official debut as a soloist was made in March 2023.

The idol rolled out his first solo album, Face, on March 24. The song showcased the idol's love for hip-hop and RnB. Following the same, the idol released his second solo album, Muse, on July 19, 2024, which held a total of seven songs.
