The band BABYMONSTER released a new episode of BAEMON NEWS on their YouTube channel on October 29, 2024. They announced that they will release their first full album, DRIP on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 1 pm KST.

The latest BAEMON NEWS 7 broadcast saw RORA reading the news and referred to someone threatening to expose the girl group. RORA said that they had received a tip that someone was planning to "expose shocking facts about BABYMONSTER."

“[Shocking! The truth about BAEMON, internal disclosure by a YG employee]” RORA said.

While the person's name wasn't revealed in the video, fans suspected that the group and YG Entertainment dissed HYBE following a disputed internal document leak.

Amid the NewJeans bullying controversy, the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism briefly publicly released some leaked papers. The leaked documents showed that HYBE wanted to separate NewJeans from its other famous girl groups like LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT.

HYBE was also exposed for shaming and badmouthing other K-pop groups within the company. These groups include NewJeans, BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER, SMNGG, TWICE, aespa, IVE, and Stray Kids, among others

Fans seemed to believe that BAEMON NEWS 7's new segment referenced these documents. They took to social media to praise the band for their and YG Entertainment's diss on HYBE. An X user wrote that it was "definitely" a shade on HYBE.

“You forgot to include that YG's internal staff (Pharita) said that Babymonster are all dangerously pretty. Definitely a company H shade,” the user said.

Many other X users commented on the girl group’s diss section, with many calling it the "only perfect way to clap back. Meanwhile, others said that the timing was perfect.

“The only perfect way to clap back lmao the girls dont come to play”- expressed a fan.
“I know that YG employee laughing at the back while rora spitting that line”- stated an admirer.
“The timing couldn't be better”- commented a fan.
“YG doesn’t need to shade HYBE or say anything; all they need to do is let Babymon sing live on music shows, and that’s it. End of discussion”- stated another admirer.
“They don't need to shade Hybe. Everyone knows the gap in talent if it's gg vs gg”- wrote a fan.
“AS THEY SHOULD HONESTLY”- stated an admirer.
“the hybe diss bye why is the timing so perfect?!! BABYMONSTER COMEBACK D2”- another fan commented.
