On November 13, 2024, Netflix Korea unveiled the behind-the-scenes video of the 10-episode rom-com series showcasing the fun moments shared between the co-stars. The recent unseen clips also showcased Woo Do-hwan celebrating his birthday on set with his co-actors and staff members.
One such clip that gained attention showcased a romantic scene between Woo Do-hwan and Lee Yoo-mi which was a part of Oh Jung-se's character Eo Heung's imagination. Many viewers believed it to be a deleted scene as they could not recognize it in the first go. However, the scene was included in Mr. Plankton as netizens and fans highlighted that the behind-the-scenes clip was taken from a different angle.

The drama follows the story of an unlucky man Hae-jo played by Woo Do-hwan who was born due to an accidental mix-up of sperm and is unaware of the identity of his father. One day Hae-jo learns shocking news which leads him to search for his real father and so he goes on the final journey of his life and is joined by Jo Jae-mi. Jo Jae-mi depicted by Lee Yoo-mi is also an unlucky woman who has a dream to have a family and become a mother.
She is set to marry Eo Heung portrayed by Oh Jung-se, the only successor of the Eo family and an Oriental Doctor. He is the son of Bum Ho-ja played by Kim Hae-sook, a noblewoman who is known for her traditional cuisine company.
