Delusion, one of the highly anticipated dramas starring Kim Seon-ho and Bae Suzy, is reported to begin filming in February 2025. The mystery sageuk drama tells the story of a painter, Yun I-ho (Kim Seon-ho), and a mysterious lady, Song Jeong-hwa.
Per What's On Netflix's report released on January 15, 2025, the drama helmed by director Han Jae-rim is reportedly scheduled to start shooting in late February. Following Bae Suzy's filming of the upcoming movie ‘Seven O’clock Breakfast Meeting for the Broken Heart,’ she is expected to join the cast and crew of Delusion in late February 2025.
The thriller drama is reportedly set to start filming in full swing between March and May 2025, with an expected release in 2026 on the OTT platform Netflix. Notably, Netflix or the production team of Delusion has not commented on the same.

On the other hand, Kim Seon-ho's agency Salt Entertainment on August 14, 2024, also confirmed receiving an offer through an official statement.
"It is true that Kim Seon-ho received the offer for 'Delusion’ and he is positively reviewing it."
As per K-drama Handle on X, reported on January 13, 2026, the Korean drama series is scheduled for a 2026 release creating anticipation among common fans of the actors. Before the Start-Up co-stars, the roles were reportedly offered to Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee. However, following the news of their public break-up, the two withdrew from the drama.

Bae Suzy and Kim Seon-ho have been all over social media for the past few months as fans eagerly await their drama Delusion. Notably, this is not the first time they are appearing in a Korean series together, they took the internet by storm with their on-screen chemistry in Start-Up (2020).
Bae Suzy played the role of Seo Dal-mi, an aspiring CEO, who participated in a competition to establish her company. Kim Seon-ho depicted the character of Han Ji-pyeong, Seo Dal-mi's childhood friend who she had never met in person and drifted apart as they grew up.
