“Deserved” - Fans laud as BTS’ Jungkook & j-hope’s albums gets listed on predicted nominees & winners for “Album of the Year” at 2025 Grammys

BTS' Jungkook and j-hope's recent albums were named in Gold Derby's 2025 Grammy Awards nominees and winners prediction list for the Album of the Year. Recently, Gold Derby unveiled comprehensive lists for the 2025 Grammy Awards nominees and winners prediction for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year category.

BTS maknae Jungkook's first solo album, GOLDEN, made it to the list at number ten with 10 votes. Meanwhile, j-hope's OST album HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1 for his solo documentary Hope on the Street secured the thirty-first position on the list.

As the news started circulating online, fans could not keep calm, and they shared their thoughts about the predictions on X. Despite the excitement, fans also shared that they did not have high hopes for the Record Academy awards.

"This is awesome and deserved," a fan said.

"F the Grammy Awards but I really hope they give hots and golden the attention they deserve and don't rob the Tannies for once (lemme be delulu)," another fan added.

"That's huge but I'll keep my expectation less knowing how much of af Grammy is," a user said.

Netizens showed their support for BTS' Jungkook's debut album, mentioning its success on the international music charts.

"If a nomination really comes in any category and regardless of the result, it will make us proud. Jungkook really worked hard on this album and he deserves all the best results possible," a user stated.

"It's such a conceptual work. Like the man wrote songs that perfectly capture specific street dance styles & included lyrics that perfectly encapsulate the corresponding episode theme. Like that's GENIUS. And this recognition is SO DESERVED." A user commented.

Meanwhile, j-hope's HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1, released on March 29, 2024, features popular artists like his fellow BTS member Jungkook, LE SSERAFIM's Huh Yunjin, Benny Blanco, and Nile Rodgers, among others.

SM Entertainment girl group aespa's Drama, released on November 10, 2023, made it to the list at number 68. On the other hand, (G)I-DLE's 2 dropped on January 29, 2024, ranked number 71.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids' Rock-Star, released on November 10, 2023, ranked number 73 on the 2025 Grammys Album of the Year nominees and winners list.
