Money Today reported an NCT fan reportedly sent protest trucks demanding BTS' Suga's removal from the band. A netizen impersonated a BTS fan and sent protest trucks outside HYBE, demanding Suga's withdrawal from BTS on August 10. On September 2, 2024, reports claimed that the netizen accidentally exposed their email address online while raising mass funding to send protest trucks again.

ARMYs immediately traced the email ID back to its original source. Reportedly, the ID's owner is an NCT fan and an alleged supporter of Min Hee-jin. In August 2024, the netizen also sent flower wreaths outside HYBE, pretending to be an ARMY, and demanded Suga's withdrawal from BTS following his DUI incident.

Notably, NCT's former member, Moon Taeil, was removed from the group on August 28, 2024, following allegations of an undisclosed s*xual offense. SM Entertainment announced the removal via a notice on its official X account.

Meanwhile, ARMYs discovered that the netizen was also among the 1,250 NCT fans invited to one of the band's fan events via the yes24.com website. The email was also linked to a Pinterest account containing images of NCT and Min Hee-jin. ARMYs claimed that the netizen had saved several articles praising ADOR's former CEO, Min Hee-jin, and had NCT and NCT 127 images pinned as "favorites."

The netizen allegedly raised funds online to send more protest trucks targeting BTS' Suga after Taeil's s*xual misconduct report went viral online. However, the netizen claimed that they saved the posts for their research and that their original account ID name is related to BTS.

"The photos were saved for my personal work. The numbers in my account ID are 화양연화 and my profile photo is 봄날. If you'd like, I can process additional ARMY verification."

For the unversed, 화양연화 translates to BTS' Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa (HYYH) album, and 봄날 translates to BTS' Spring Day song.

Meanwhile, the BTS ARMY was enraged after uncovering the real identity of the netizen who sent protest trucks and wreaths against Suga. Several X users posted evidence on Instiz (a Korean online forum) proving the netizen has been an NCT fan.

One online user wrote on X,

"How despicable!!"

The BTS fans lashed out at the netizen, underscoring their support towards an alleged s*xual offender and defaming ARMYs by impersonating them.

"Like imagine harshing someone who didn't harm anyone but the one who caused harm to a fellow female is moving freely, what kind of woman is she," one X user wrote.
"Can you imagine how much more successful that group could be if their fans actually focused on their favs and actually streaming / buying / consuming their music?… yeah, me neither!" another stated.
"And I also wonder what the tax service would say if it started investigating the flow of funds in the account of this person," another X user added.

Several fans also wondered if BIGHIT MUSIC (now HYBE Labels) would be able to sue the individual if they all collectively reported the netizen.

"Can she expect to be sued by BHM and [Suga] for harassment? Does their law allow people to be sued for sending protest trucks?" one X user questioned.
"He is also a fan of minheejin who pretended as an army protesting to require suga be disbanded from Bts. Thats why i said bunnies tokki r inventing plots and harming fellow artists," another claimed.
"Gosh she is sending hate and wasting money on a man who fell off his escooter when she can use the money for donation to SA victims or something. Insane," one other user said.

Trigger Warning: Descriptions of r*pe and s*xual assault.

More about former NCT member Taeil's s*xual misconduct case and BTS' Suga's DUI episode

SM Entertainment announced that after thoroughly investigating Taeil's s*xual assault case, they removed him from NCT and its sub-unit group, NCT 127. They also indefinitely halted the idol's activities and wrote,

"We have recently confirmed that Taeil has been implicated in a criminal case related to a s*xual offense. After verifying the facts related to this matter and recognizing the seriousness of the situation, we have determined that Taeil can no longer continue his activities with the team and have decided to remove him from the group after discussions with him."

BTS' Suga was charged with drunk driving a foldable electric scooter/kickboard on August 6, 2024. His blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level was around 0.08%, according to MBC Entertainment and the Yongsan Police Department's report.

Meanwhile, the DearU Bubble fan community app also terminated Taeil's services from its app and deleted his account following the charges. Police reported that Taeil has been under investigation for se*ual assault since June 2024.
