On August 29, 2024, Disney+, the global streaming service, announced its stellar cast for its upcoming 2025 Korean drama Made In Korea. The cast includes Hyun-bin, Won Ji-an, Seo Eun-soo, Cho Yeo-jeong, Jung Sung-il, and Jung Woo-sung.
This Disney+ political period drama series, Made In Korea portrays a narrative set against significant events in Korea's modern and contemporary history during the 1970s. The series is directed by Woo Min-ho and the screenplay is co-written by Park Eun-gyo and Park Joon-suk.

Set in the 1970s, the historical crime-thriller Korean drama narrates the tale of Baek Ki-Tae, a man driven by ambition and a deep desire for wealth and power.
On the other hand, Jang Gun-Young, a prosecutor known for his keen instincts and unwavering determination, finds himself facing a significant incident. It compels him to dedicate all his efforts to thwart Baek Ki-Tae's ambitions. The said incident will change both of their lives as they strive for survival.
Hyun-bin portrays the character of Baek Ki-Tae, a man with aspirations for wealth and influence in Made In Korea. Jung Woo-Sung assumes the role of Jang Gun-Young, a prosecutor known for his remarkable instincts and unwavering determination.
In addition to the main characters, the supporting cast of the drama Made In Korea includes Won Ji-an as Lobbyist Choi Yoo-ji and Seo Eun-Soo as Investigator Oh Ye-jin. The character Bae Geum-ji, is portrayed by Cho Yeo-jeong, and Chief Secretary Cheon Seok-joong is played by Jung Sung-il.
This Disney+ crime thriller will be director Woo Min-ho's first TV series, who has previously directed films like Inside Men (2015) and The Man Standing Next (2020). Even though the exact release date of the drama hasn't been revealed, Made In Korea is expected to be released in 2025.

The lead of Made In Korea Hyun-bin, a South Korean actor, has gained immense popularity for his prominent roles in various successful television shows.
Notably, Hyun-bin starred in the romantic fantasy drama Secret Garden (2010–2011), the fantasy drama Memories of the Alhambra (2018–2019), and the romantic drama Crash Landing on You (2019–2020).
Hyun-bin is also well-known for his roles in commercially successful films such as the historical action movie The Fatal Encounter (2014), the action thriller Confidential Assignment (2017) and its sequel in 2022, as well as the crime thriller The Swindlers (2017).
