More details about Kim Soo-hyun and Jo Bo-ah's latest endeavors

Kim Soo-hyun's recent portrayal in the popular tvN and Netflix drama Queen of Tears received great praise and attention. The drama was released on March 9, 2024, where he portrays chaebol heiress Hong Hae-in's (Kim Ji-won) husband, Baek Hyun-woo. The drama revolves around a second chance in romance amidst their marital conflict.

Queens Group's legal director Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) and heiress Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won), who is also the CEO of Queens department store, are trapped in an uneventful, nearly loveless marriage. With his allegedly chilly and distant wife, Hyun-woo feels dehumanized by his domineering in-laws from the Chaebol dynasty and seldom interacts with her. However, they get closer once again as Hae-in faces a life-threatening terminal disease.

Queen of Tears broke ratings records surpassing Crash Landing on You, gained thousands of new admirers for Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won globally, and had viewers belting out Crush's Love You With All My Heart—one of the drama's main original soundtracks.

The plot of Destined With You revolves around Jang Sin-yu (Rowoon) and Lee Hong-jo (Jo Bo-ah), whose current lives became complicated due to a curse originating from their previous lifetimes. Despite being extremely wealthy, Jang Sin-yu is afflicted with an incurable illness that was thought to be a curse placed on the young men in the Jang family.

Meanwhile, Lee Hong-jo, a public worker in the City of Onju, has been a solitary and lonely person since the death of her father. The story begins when Jang Sin-yu discovers the book Spells of the Heavens hidden inside a wooden box in their historic home and finds hope to break his curse. However, the book is in the possession of Lee Hong-jo—who is inclined not to cooperate with him.
