On December 23, South Korean social media app Weverse released a teaser of its upcoming interview with BTS' j-hope that will be featured in its Weverse magazine. The 20-second black and white teaser included several close-up shots of the BTS member, who wore multiple snake rings in his fingers.
BTS' j-hope’s teaser soon went viral on the internet as fans speculated the announcement of the idol’s future projects in the upcoming interview.
Consequently, fans flooded the internet with their anticipation and enthusiasm for his eagerly awaited comeback following the completion of his military training in October this year.

BTS' j-hope’s new album rumors circulated in November 2024
On November 15, 2024, the Korean media outlet Naver announced that BTS' j-hope will release an album prior to the group's comeback in 2025. The rumors were ignited when the news outlet released the report regarding HYBE Labels' stock values.
According to its report, the stock prices of the entertainment company were anticipated to increase with the imminent release of BTS member Kim Seokjin's solo debut album, HAPPY, and j-hope's second record prior to the group's comeback in the latter half of 2025.
Earlier, on October 17, BTS' j-hope officially completed his 18-month military service, having enlisted in April 2023.
Soon after his departure from the service, he appeared as the first pitcher for the Korean Series Game 2024 on October 23, 2024. This marked his first public appearance following his military discharge.
