On September 20, 2024, BigHit Music dropped an unseen video of the documentary JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL through the official X account featuring BTS Jungkook and Kim Taehyung greeting each other warmly, sending fans into a frenzy. The clip kick-started showcasing the male artist recording the songs for his debut album, Golden, in the recording studio.
Subsequently, Kim Taehyung, donning a sleeveless sweater and a black beanie, arrived at the recording studio. He hugged Jungkook and had a brief conversation. The scene transitioned to showcasing the Golden Maknae's multiple moments recording the song in the studio, vehicle, and other places.
During the interaction, BTS' V asked Jungkook the number of songs he was recording that day, and in response, he showed him the track. Subsequently, Kim Taehyung replied, 'Are you just recording this one song?' he said yes.
Soon, the latest clip featuring Kim Taehyung and BTS Jungkook's brief encounter circulated on social media and went viral. The fandom could not stop swooning over the reaction, and subsequently, an X user tweeted that the duo was always there to extend support for each other and each other's safe place.
"How taehyung just opened up his arms in front of Jungkook for a hug & jungkook just came into Tae's embrace, it felt like his biggest support was right there. The soft tone they use to talk to each other just melts my heart. No doubt they are each other's safe place."
The fandom expressed their elation watching Kim Taehyung showcasing support to BTS Jungkook during the production process of GOLDEN and demanded a song from the duo.
