On Thursday, August 8, the four-piece K-pop girl group BLACKPINK celebrated their 8-year anniversary with their fans, BLINKS, through a Weverse livestream. All four members were present during the livestream, and they cut a cake wearing party hats for the special occasion.

Given that the members have currently been focusing on solo releases and promotions, fans didn't expect BLACKPINK to gather on their anniversary. Therefore, seeing the four together after a long time had fans elated and excited. On the other hand, they also continued to celebrate both the members' reunion and the anniversary through social media trends.
