On August 21, 2024, BTS' Kim Seok-jin was announced as the Honorary Tourism Ambassador of Seoul by Visit Seoul. On August 26, Visit Seoul dropped the official teaser of its "Feel Soul Good" campaign which went viral online. Fans trended the phrase "FACE OF SEOUL JIN" globally on X (formerly Twitter) and lauded the musician's visuals.
For the uninitiated Visit Seoul is the official tourism guide organisation which is affiliated with Seoul's metropolitan government. The official campaign of "Feel Soul Good" will be released on August 29, 2024.
Meanwhile, the BTS ARMY expressed their excitement towards the release of the campaign on August 29. They added that the Epiphany singer-songwriter has been the reason they wanted to visit South Korea.
"Jin is the reason I want to go visit Korea...hope my dream comes true," one fan wrote.
"AHHH THEY USED TO DO IT TOGETHER. NOW HE'S THE ONLY ONE," another fan wrote.
"1 out of 7 of your best ambassadors. Memories of last year when NamJin where plastered around Seoul," one other fan wrote.
Others mentioned that if they ever visit South Korea then it will be "because of these 7 precious men," referring to BTS.
"I visited Seoul in June, and I'm going again in December. I can't wait to Feel Soul Good again," one fan said.
"If Seokjin wants me to book a flight to Seoul I will absolutely do. My baby looks so precious here!!!! Let it be known to the Korean government that I am visiting their country because of this 7 precious men," another fan commented.
"That's a face worth a billion dollars right there. Would you look at him! Seokjinaahh why so handsome," one other fan added.

The Epiphany singer-songwriter was discharged from the South Korean military on June 12, 2024. He has been working on his solo music and is set to release his debut solo album by the end of 2024. Additionally, he became the face of two luxury brands—FRED and GUCCI.
He became the first Korean musician to get selected by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as one of the torchbearers for the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch relay. He joined the relay on July 14 (local Paris time) and carried the Olympic Flame across the Louvre Pyramid, guarded by 30 French National Police Officers.
Meanwhile, he featured as a special guest in the Korean variety show, Half-star Hotel in Lost Island. The BTS idol was featured on two episodes of the MBC's reality show that were aired on August 19 and 26, 2024.
Additionally, he released his solo variety show, RUN JIN, on BANGTANTV (YouTube), on August 13. It is a spin-off of BTS' own variety show, Run BTS!
In other news, the Tonight singer-songwriter was featured on the cover of Harper's BAZAAR Korea's upcoming September edition. All three cover versions of the magazine were sold out within minutes of the opening of the pre-orders.
