Several clips and videos from the special video started to circulate on social media platforms like X as fans showcased their excitement. One such post by user @sugas_studio included an alleged screen grab from the video showing the BTS vocalist putting a cassette in a radio. The cassette showed a date of 11/22/24, alleging a music release by Jin.

The tweet surpassed 185K views on X (formerly Twitter), creating anticipation as many fans believed it was true. However, many fans shared the original part from the special video debunking the rumors about the Moon singer's alleged upcoming music release date. BTS Jin’s original Super Tuna reportedly removed from Spotify

On October 11, 2024, BTS member Jin dropped his latest single Super Tuna extended version on various music service platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and more. The special video of the extended version was also released on the same day on BANGTAN TV, the official YouTube channel of BTS.

The original Super Tuna was released on December 4, 2021 on YouTube. It was made available on the Swedish music service platform Spotify on October 20, 2022. After the release of the latest version many fans online noticed that the original version was reportedly no longer available on Jin's Spotify profile.

On October 10, 2024, Jin revealed the Super Tuna extended version ahead of its official release and also shared his plans of pulling off the original track from several platforms. He explained in his Weverse live that the original song would be changed to the extended version on some platforms but it would not be possible for all platforms as some do not allow modifications.

“At first, I have to change the singles on the sites, and some sites let you change and some don't, but I said just delete the old and lets start from 0! and i asked can't we just delete?”

The BTS member further shared that some fans may find it disheartening but on platforms where the switching of tracks is not allowed, they will have to pull it off completely.

“And some said it would be heartbreaking so we'll be switching the single <to the longer version>. and the sites where you can't upload a new version we'll delete and upload a new version.”

The music video focuses on a fun mission where Jin goes on a journey to catch a Tuna.
